Mohan Thomas cerebral, and lyrically super interesting music, with some nice vampy bones. Seems to me like this record should be a big deal. highly recommended.

Recorded by the BBC at the London club, Pizza Express, Live/UK is the new release by the fiery, ever-evolving pianist and composer, Jason Lindner. Since the 1990's, Lindner has been a centerpiece of the New York City jazz scene. His previous releases and engaging performances have garnered him critical acclaim, and placed Lindner among the vanguard of young pianists. On Live/UK, Lindner surrounds himself with some of his closest collaborators, Jimmy Greene (tenor sax, flute), Marlon Browden (drums), and Omer Avital (bass).
